In 2007, ZWES acquired the exclusive license rights to the Revolution Compactor for North and South America from Ideal Environmental of Great Britain and France.

The Revolution Compactor represents a leading edge compaction/dewatering technology for waste compaction, liquid removal and fuel preparation. More than 320 of these are currently in use in European locations, serving premier clients such as Ford Motor Company, MacDonald’s, Vivendi, Coca-Cola and L’Oreal.

The Compactor provides very strong benefits for industrial and municipal waste management, because of its capability to remove both air and liquids from solid waste at the factory or the transfer station. The result is a 30 to 50 per cent reduction in transportation costs, and the efficiency of packaging processed waste for later use in a waste-to-energy facility.
